Anything leftover is considered unsupported, and won't be migrated. Much of that happens automatically, so you'll only have to manually map the ones that Zoho couldn't figure out on its own. Once it's processed, you'll see a list of all the backup files you processed, which you'll then need to map manually to whatever Zoho modules will need them. This means you'll need to open the app's backup files from inside Zoho, and then wait for Zoho to process all the data. For others, like Salesforce, you'll need to migrate from a backup file. In that case, you can opt for a Kanban view that reorients your leads around whichever fields you think are most important, such as the name, the lead's source, or the lead's annual revenue, among others.įor some of these systems, like Insightly, you can migrate data using the API, which gives you lots of customization options. Your Leads view, for instance, defaults to a list that has all the information you need, but it might not present it how you'd like. Most of the Zoho core CRM module is also customizable. For example, if you're both a salesperson and a sales manager, you can configure two landing pages and click between them.
If you're having trouble setting up a custom landing page that doesn't need scrolling, Zoho lets you set up multiple landing pages for yourself. For salespeople, the landing page is mostly about open tasks, but managers can also add important dashboards. For example, if you'd rather see which customers' calls are overdue, you can replace your open task list with that information. The view is packed with information, including open tasks, current leads, and pending engagements with customers.įortunately, the Welcome page is also fully customizable. The screen's clear, but it's dense by default when compared to Insightly's slicker UI. There's a lot of information on these screens, and Zoho only does a so-so job of presenting it. Users won't default to Settings, however, but to their individual Welcome screens.
